Anastasios Pantelias (Age 40), Commercial Manager A graduate of Business Economics, Mr. Pantelias began his career with Galbraith’s Shipbrokers London, where he was responsible for Tanker Projects, handling sale and purchase and term employment contracts. In 1999 he continued his career in Singapore, where he set up and managed the Asia representative office of a Greek shipping group. In 2005 he joined Mantinia Shipping in the capacity of commercial manager with responsibility for business development as well as overseeing the Company’s chartering and sale and purchase activities. His employment transferred from Mantinia Shipping to Hellenic Shipmanagement in 2007.
Spyridoula Gavala (Age 26), Designated Person Ashore
Ms. Gavala operates as the DPA of Hellenic Shipmanagement Corp. and is responsible for the implementation, monitoring and audit of the safety management (ISM) procedures for each vessel, in connection with the ISM certification. Ms. Gavala is a graduate of the Merchant Marine Academy in Greece and holds Captain’s Class C Certificate. Before joining Hellenic Shipmanagement she worked for a tanker owning company where she held the position of the deputy DPA and Vetting Assistant.
Anastasia Delidimitriou (Age 32), Senior Accounting Officer
Before joining Hellenic Shipmanagement Corp. on 1 November 2007, Ms. Delidimitriou worked for Mantinia since 2006. Ms. Delidimitriou started her career in shipping working as an accountant for John Giavridis Inc. She holds a degree in Business Administration from the University of Piraeus, Greece.
Helen Walsh (Age 32), Commercial/ Legal Department Officer
Prior to joining Hellenic Shipmanagement Corp. in January 2010, Ms. Walsh worked as a claims handler for a ship advisory firm in Piraeus, and was appointed Registrar for the Barbados Maritime Authority in Greece. Ms. Walsh holds a LLM in Maritime & Commercial Law from the University of Wales, Swansea.

Lampros Tsakos (Age 48), Deputy Technical Manager
Mr. Tsakos has over 20 years experience, starting his career as a cadet engineer with Ceres Hellenic Shipping, where he remained and worked for 18 years reaching the Superintendent position. Later he joined Unisea Shipping as a Ship Manager. Mr. Tsakos is a graduate from the Aspropirgos Marine Engineering Academy in Greece and has the Certificate of Class A Engineer since 1993. He joined Mantinia in August 2007.
Capt. Nikolaos Athanasakos (Age 34), Marine Manager
Captain Athanasakos joined Mantinia in 2006. He is a graduate from the Greek National Maritime Academy and has a Captain Class B Diploma. During his five years of shipboard experience, he held the positions of Apprentice Officer, Second Officer and Chief Mate
Rea Mitropoulou (Age 37), Legal Department Manager
Ms. Mitropoulou is a graduate of the Athens Law School and University of Cambridge (LLM) and a qualified lawyer in Athens and Piraeus. She specialises in all aspects of shipping law and has fourteen years of experience from major Greek shipping law firms as well as being an in-house lawyer of a major shipyard. Ms. Mitropoulou participates actively in national and international shipping law seminars, and has published a number of works in that area. As Mantinia's in-house legal advisor she is responsible for providing advice on all legal and marine insurance matters including agreements with various parties (i.e. charterers, suppliers, banks, etc), legal claims and other legal documentation such as incorporation, Directors’ and Shareholders’ certificates.
Vicky Kaila (Age 41), Designated Person Ashore
Ms. Kaila operates as the DPA of Mantinia Shipping Co. S.A. Before joining Mantinia in 2004, Ms. Kaila worked in a variety of capacities within the shipping industry, including a position with the American Bureau of Shipping. More recently, Ms. Kaila has specialised in the field of safety management. Ms. Kaila is a graduate of Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering from the University of Athens and has over thirteen years of experience in the shipping sector.
