Yiannis Karagiannis (age 46), Commercial Manager
Mr. Karagiannis joined Hellenic Shipmanagement in 2011 in the capacity of commercial manager with responsibility for business developments and overseeing the Company’s chartering and sale and purchase activities. He has more than 15 years of experience in the chartering and commercial sector of the shipping industry, and was previously employed as chartering and commercial manager of Paralos Maritime Corp. S.A. and prior to that as chartering manager of Lyras Shipping Ltd.
Mr. Karagiannis is a graduate of the Merchant Marine Academy of Hydra, and has 4 years shipboard experience serving up to the rank of Second Officer on board bulk carriers and tankers.
Anastasia Delidimitriou (Age 33), Senior Accounting Officer
Before joining Hellenic Shipmanagement Corp. on 1 November 2007, Ms. Delidimitriou worked for Mantinia since 2006. Ms. Delidimitriou started her career in shipping working as an accountant for John Giavridis Inc. She holds a degree in Business Administration from the University of Piraeus, Greece.
Panagiotis Konstantopoulos, Designated Person Ashore
Mr. Konstantopoulos joined Hellenic Shipmanagement Corp. in 2011 in the capacity of the Designated Person Ashore (DPA) and Company Security Officer (CSO) and is responsible for the implementation, monitoring and audit of the safety management procedures for the fleet, as well as the ISM (International Safety Management) and ISPS (International Ship and Port Facility Security) certification.
Mr. Konstantopoulos is a graduate of University of Piraeus on Maritime Studies (BSc), obtained also a BSc from the Technological Educational Institute of Athens (TEI) in Shipbuilding, and is qualified as a Naval Architect.
Prior to joining Hellenic Shipmanagement Corp. he had sea service experience as an Engineer and worked as marine consultant and surveyor, conducting training sessions and following up on various ISM projects for a Marine Consultancy Company in Piraeus.
B) Senior Management of Mantinia Shipping Co S.A.
Capt. Nikolaos Tsarouchis (Age 57), Operations Manager
Captain Tsarouchis is a graduate of the School of Master Mariners in Greece and has 18 years shipboard experience. He joined Mantinia from Seachem Tankers (Ceres Hellenic Group) where he held the position of Operations Manager for a number of years with responsibility for running a fleet of 26 chemical tankers and gas carriers. As an Operations Manager, Mr. Tsarouchis is responsible for the operations of the Mantinia managed vessels. As of 31st December 2010, Capt. Tsarouchis is the DPA of Mantinia Shipping Co. S.A., and responsible for the implementation, monitoring and audit of the safety management (ISM) procedures in connection with the ISM certification.
Lampros Tsakos (Age 49), Deputy Technical Manager
Mr. Tsakos has over 30 years experience, starting his career since 1981 as a cadet engineer with Ceres Hellenic Shipping, where he remained and worked for 18 years as mariner, reaching the Superintendent position till 2005. Later he joined Unisea Shipping as a Ship Manager till August 2007. Mr. Tsakos is a graduate from the Aspropirgos Marine Engineering Academy in Greece and has the Certificate of Class A Engineer since 1993. He joined Mantinia in August 2007.
Rea Mitropoulou (Age 39), Legal Department Manager
Ms. Mitropoulou is a graduate of the Athens Law School and University of Cambridge (LLM) and a qualified lawyer in Athens and Piraeus. She specialises in all aspects of shipping law and has fifteen years of experience from major Greek shipping law firms as well as being an in-house lawyer of a major shipyard. Ms. Mitropoulou participates actively in national and international shipping law seminars, and has published a number of works in that area. As Mantinia's in-house legal advisor she is responsible for providing advice on all legal and marine insurance matters including agreements with various parties (i.e. suppliers, banks, service providers, charter-parties, bills of lading, MOAs, shipbuilding contracts etc), all sorts of shipping law claims and preparation of corporate documentation, such as minutes for BOD and shareholders’ meetings, Directors’ and Shareholders’ certificates etc.
Capt. Dionysios Voutsinas (Age 38), Crewing Manager
Captain Voutsinas started his career in 1991. After graduating from the Merchant Marine Academy of Aspropirgos Greece in 1995, Capt. Voutsinas acquired his Master Mariner Licence in 2007 and has 8 years of sea service experience on Product / Chemical Tankers. He was previously employed as a seafarer at AVIN International S.A. and European Product Carriers Ltd. Capt. Voutsinas joined Mantinia in July 2008 as Marine Superintendent, and from 2009 he has been assigned the responsibilities of the Crewing Department.
